Dreamtime - I've been collecting Australian fabric for the past 5 years, but only in the past year found this design, which I feel does these magnificent, curved designs justice. Laurie Weiner, who did the quilting, created original Aboriginal designs which she incorporated into the quilted border.
The Many Faces of Happy - We were challenged to make a quilt based on an emotion. I choose "Happy." I drew quilting designs joining a variety of faces and smiles on a wholecloth quilt sandwich, then quilted the lines. I painted between the lines to make the design appear to be pieced. I completed the project by couching over 3 pieces of perle cotton to make the defined black lines. This has a faced binding that shows slightly to edge the front.
The Accidental Quilt - This quilt was originally going to be a pieced border for the blue jelly roll quilt, until I realised it was completely the wrong colour. Hence the name, the Accidental Quilt.
Workshop Sample 2 - And then we decided we needed a bright version, so yet another Rail Fence quilt was whizzed up. This one still needs layering and quilting.
Terry's Quilt - This quilt is for our friend Terry for all the help he has given us. His request was for a black, white and purple quilt, I added green to the mix along with some grays.

Spring Baskets - I had finished this quilt in 2001 but was nver quite content with it. So I changed around some fabrics and added more quilting. I think it's finished now.
Rachel's Memory Quilt - As a relatively new quilter, this is my first big quilt. It is a memory quilt made for and requested by my youngest daughter. It could also be called a "Break All the Rules Quilt" because I've broken most all of the rules, knowing full well that I shouldn't be doing what I was doing, yet doing it anyway.
