Name of Maker: Sandy Fine
Inspirations of Fall - Two inch squares, either one piece or various triangles pieced to form two inch squares were used to create the leaves in this quilt. I had to follow the quilt diagram very closely to get the leaf placement correct.
State Quarter Flag
Name of Maker: Sandy Fine
State Quarter Flag - I adapted this flag from a pattern in Better Homes and Gardens, Quilting Ideas 2002. The white fabric for the stars representing the 50 states are folded to hold each of the 50 State Quarter being released from 1999 through 2008 by US Mint. I made a second one in 2005 and donated to the ORNL Alzheimer Auction.

Flag of England - This is my second Flag of England quilt. I made this one for my brother's fiance's to give to her son-in-law who is from England. The first one was made for her S-I-L's sister who lives in England and is a big soccer fan. The back is the same as the front. It is quilted in a diagonal grid pattern.

Diane McClure - This wall hanging is a Round-Robin. The centre was made by me and the "rounds " by members of the Beartown Quilters Congleton Cheshire.

New York Beauty - I made this quilt following a mamagram and needle biopsy that thankfully turned out ok. I wanted to reflect all the pins and needles that were stuck into me. Pink because of breast cancer awarness.

Alice in wonderland - This medallion quilt is my daughters favourate. She named it and ownes it. I made it during a course of six workshops at a local quilt shop (now closed unfortunatly).
Ikat Edges

Ikat Edges - 100% of the fabrics in this quilt are hand dyed and hand woven material from Bali, Indonesia, that I purchased while in Bali this Spring. The idea of using the edge of the fabrics was inspired by the selvage edge quilts by Karen Griska.

Stephan's Memories - This is our younger son's memory quilt ready to go to college with him. All the squares but one are from tee shirts. One is a photo transfer. He picked the fabric for the sashing strips. It went together much, much quicker than his older brother's quilt did 3 years ago!
