Kevin & Caitlin's Wedding Quilt - Moms, Aunts and a cousin helped piece this quilt while Kevin was in Iraq. We presented it to Caitlin at a Hawaiian themed wedding shower.

Janet's Double Wedding Ring - This quilt was made using Shar Jorgenson's plexi-glass templates. It was one of the most difficult quilts I have EVER done, but it was a joy making it for my sister-in-law who is recovering from cancer.

Kori's Quilt

North Winds - Made the main body of the quilt in 1997 and hand quilted it. I never liked the quilting job I did, so I took it apart this year, put on a new outer border and quilted it on my new long-arm machine. I really like it now.

Kelsey's Quilt - Kelsey picked out the main colors but I wanted to add more pizzazz so I put in the batiks.

Autumn Splendor - Batik Quilt

Trevor's soccer quilt - This is backed with old jean pieces that were cut to fray, but when I washed it the lint generated clogged the washing machine and we almost threw out the machine. I cleaned out the motor out in the driveway and it started working again. Learned a hard lesson.

Sarah's Dragon - My daughter, Sarah, loves dragons so this wallhanging became her Christmas Gift. The three roses stand for her and her two beautiful daughters, Gabrielle and Sarena. Thread painting.

california comfort - I began this quilt in a Vicki Johnson workshop. Painted from a springtime photo of the hills above Morro Bay. A blanket of fog over the ocean.

Lakehouse Quilt - This quilt is made for the back of the couch at my Mom and Dad's lakehouse in western Illinois. The design is inspired by a quilt I saw in a magazine, although I simplified it a bit as I'm still somewhat new to quilting. As for the quilting itself, it is not my strength and I definitely need more practice so I used invisible thread so it wouldn't stand out. I used a tulip pattern on the blocks, a circular swirl on the inside border and a rope-like stencil on the outer border. Thanks for looking, Julie

Scraps & Orphan Blocks - Quilt was published in "Sampler Quilts" # 49, after "Quilt" magazine ran a request for Orphan Blocks. Wow, was I suprised!

Enchanted - The original pattern was for a small wall hanging. I loved the pattern and made a larger version of the quilt.
