Life's twists and turns
Name of Maker: Marla
Life's twists and turns - This quilt was begun in 2006 and sat on my sewing table for over a year when I got bogged down with some points that just would not meet correctly. I finally got it out again, determined to be completed. This Queen/King quilt ended up being a monster size at over 100 inches both sides. The only way I could quilt it was to start in the center and work my around and around in waves. Due to the size and weight, the waves are sometimes points thus the name. I discovered while completeing this quilt that I love to piece and now I need to learn to love the quilting process. I am so very pleased with the final look.

Jenn's Celtic Cross
Name of Maker: Susan McCannon
Jenn's Celtic Cross - I love patterns that look woven or three-dimensional. In addition I am intrigued by the organic nature of celtic imagery. The idea for this quilt first started when I found a red batik with a motif resembling the mathematical symbol for infinity. All the quilting motifs are of celtic origin.
Musicmaker 1
Name of Maker: C Bettinger
Musicmaker 1 - I decided to take the plunge and make a wallhanging with a musical theme (for hanging in my piano teaching studio) completely from scratch. This quilt is the result. I'm not sure I like the busy-ness of it - but after all, it reflects what's going on in my head. I ventured into watercolors, embellishments, free motion, fused binding, hot fix crystals.
