Curiositys' Rainbow - "Go Green" was a challenge to buy nothing new for a 5" square quilt. I went to my scraps and found cats and rainbows. I'd just watched TQS and it had a segment on curved pieces and so I tried it out. I added Swaroski crystals and rainbow thread fancy stitches to complete my piece.

My Guest Room - This is a Queen sized quilt that I made. It was my first full sized quilt. I also made a bed skirt and pillow shams to match.

Rainbow stars - I had made a set of rainbow napkins for my sister. When I found this pattern at Road 2 CA quilt show I knew she needed a table runner to match - she is quite the entertainer - I, sometimes, jokingly call her Martha.

Balls in Space - I made this quilt for a shop challenge.. we had to incorporate 2 fabrics that the shop picked for us. The black with the pink and orange stripes and the white with the pink and orange polka dots.

Baby Hunter's Quilt - Our niece wanted a non baby quilt for her new baby.

Baby Charlie's Quilt - My sister wanted a bright quilt for either a baby girl or boy

My mini Aquarium - My quilter's group issued a challenge - we had to applique a quilt using the 3 fabrics they chose. We could add other fabrics but in the same colours as the 3. It could be no larger than18"

Robyn's quilt - Random use of beautiful fabric collection "Allspice Tapestry" , made for my sister Robyn .

Dinner's Done - NOT - I was supposed to be making pot pie for dinner when I got caught up with making this quilt. We ended up having Pizza. I had no idea what I was going to do with my B&W until it was finished.

Not Named yet - This was made at a weekend quilt retreat for my daughter Tiffany. Her favorite colors are black and pink. I went 'shopping' for the pinks in my mom's stash! My mom is quilting it now. Hopefully it will be home soon, my daughter would love to use it! This picture was taken at the retreat right after the top was finished.

Lily's Baskets - Traditional quilt basket pattern, made for my niece using fabrics inherited from my grandmother.

Warren Kimble quilt - 1 Yard piece of Warren Kimble fabric bought on ebay. Couldn't bear to cut it up so came up with this design. Highlight for me was meeting the great man himself at the Vermont Quilt festival 2007.

Hearts and Stars

Floating Jewels - I made this quilt as a high school graduation gift for my niece. I like how the brightly coloured tumbling blocks stand out vividly against the grey background. I connected all of the hexagon points with a curved, interlocking quilting pattern which created six-petal flowers all over the quilt. It took ages to do but it finished the quilt off just right so I'm glad I persevered.

Challange Quilt

"What do you call a group of ripe avocados?" - Made for "Art of the Avocado" contest for Avocado Festival in Fallbrook April 20, 2008. Second time I have done "Hand Applique".

ABC Girls - I started cross stitching each ABC girl in 2001 & quilted all blocks together in 2006.
