Triip Around the World - This is a lap sized quilt. It was my first class at a quilt shop and I really enjoyed it. I knew I had a lot to learn. Quilted it on my Bernina.

Sweet Baby Tessa - This quilt was made for a colleague's first child. She is expecting Tessa in May. It was given to her at her baby shower.

Galveston 2005 - Made for the Fast Friday Fabric Challenge, using found objects. Photo of seagulls taken on the beach on Galveston, TX, fused to background of blue and sandy Color Catchers from my washer. Seagull feathers are attached using a machine featherstitch (!), then several shapes of light blue tulle are overlaid using MistyFuse. Quilting lines continue the tire tracks on the sand in the photo.

Priscilla's Stripes - This quilt was made after taking a class with Priscilla Bianchi at a quilt show in Manchester, NH. It was the first class I took at a show and learned so much from Priscilla. The colors in the Guatemalan fabrics are vibrant and inspiring. I combined hand dyed and batiks to in the lattice and border.

Snelling Stained Glass Quilt - I was inpired by stained glass at a local church. This was made for a friend with pictures of her family for her wedding anniversary

When Pigs Fly - As an Rn whenever mgmt . said they were going to do something ,staff would say "YEH when Pigs Fly".When I saw the material I was going to make a warm up jacket. It became a quilt instead.

Special Friends - I made this quilt for my preschool class to commemorate the first year of our inclusive program. My assistants cut the clothes from various fabrics and the children chose their outfits. The border was made using the children's handprints. It is the first quilt I ever entered into a show and won first prize in the Rookie division.

Anne and Joe's wedding quilt - When I saw the Martha Pullen fabric I knew it was perfect for a photo wedding quilt for my daughter Anne and her husband. It was a Christmas gift the first Christmas after the wedding. It has the majority of her wedding photos on it.

Spirit of the West - I took a class by Debbie Caffrey this past summer, based on using 2.5" strips ("worms"). I bought this pattern at the class, although it has nothing to do with strips. My husband kept asking when I'd finally make a quilt for our bed, and this is his answer. He wanted something really warm so I used wool batting for the first time, and am very happy with it. It is a bit puffy, but I don't mind.

Butterfly - I was going to Florida and wanted something to work on that wasn't too big. I pieced it in Fla. and when I came home I quilted it with embroidered butterflies

Chloe's - Baby Quilt? - This baby quilt is made with several Laurel Burch fabric, shortly after she died. The child who is getting it is adopted and has two Dad's with international backgrounds. A REAL Non-traditional family and Chloe's quilt is far from traditional.

Chintz Flowerbeds Wallhanging - Smaller version, wallhanging in our entry.

I'll get around to it. - My son had requested a black quilt with some red and white. This is the first time I used a sew in the round type effect.

Winter Windows - This was a challenge quilt. We had to use the three fabrics that make up the centres of the windows in a quilt. All the edges of the windows were sewn down by hand (I took it along on our honeymoon to Mexico!) and then machine pieces the squares together. Hand quilted the border.

Till The Cows Come Home - Made for a lover of John Deere. It has basic block and a curvy cut block type too.

Leap Frog - Made for a little boy. he likes frogs=)

Girl Power - Made for a strong little girl! =)
