Frosty - I made two of these from kits I bought. One I gave to my operating room for a raffel and one of my doctors bought it. This one I made for a recovery room nurse who loves snowmen.

High Way to Recovery - I made this one after seveal friends were diagnosed with brest cancer. The label lists all of those who have touched my life that have either had and recovered from breast cancer or who have moved on. There is a pink ribbon for each one worked into the pattern. The woman in the picture is my 84 year old mother who is a breast cancer survivor.
Hanaka Lights

Hanaka Lights - While recovering from a broken wrist I took a paper piecing class and then made this for my sister in law who is recovering from colon cancer. Each candel has 16 pieces and as you can see there are 32 of them.

Quilt For Scott - I purchased this kit from one of the shops visited by my very first shop hop bus tour. It was so much fun. I saw this sample hanging in the very last shop we were going to, and I knew I had to make it for my son-in-law. He had taken my 12-yr-old son both duck hunting and deer hunting this fall, andy my son loved it. Didn't get to shoot at anything, not until he's had some gun safty classes. He enjoyed the male bonding though. This was my way of saying thank you.

"But Can He Sing?" - I love birds!The outside border is a collection of birds from S. Africa & N. America, hand appliqued. The feathers are free motioned embroidered and then appliqued, by machine, to the quilt.
Africa Day 4

Africa Day 4 - Hand appliqued and hand beaded. Border is beaded using a method taught by Mary Stori. Birds are S. African and the flowers are magnolias. Main branches were stuffed as I appliqued. Extra leaves were added with neon thread.
