Four Patch Garden - This is the common four patch with a gradational color diagonally. Theme is gardens and chickens. I used squares from a mail order catalog and found coordinating prints and solids that worked.
Converging Wild Dreams

Converging Wild Dreams - Followed Ricky's Convergence book for the center, then added a few borders to make it larger and more colorful. My husband saw this and requested it as his, so I gave it to him, but now he has put it away, and I've taken it into my quilt room for color, and my cat sleeps on it!

It has how many pieces? - Who knows what I was thinking when I decided to do this. But my husband was in Iraq and well I didn't have to cook dinner.
The Twins

The Twins - These are a pair of quilts that I purchased at my friend's shop - Donna Bacon in Kennett Square, PA. I love these quilts -- I call them the twins. The quilting is superb! The butterflies are hand appliqued with hand satin stitching.

Tyger Quilt - Irregular shaped images from fronts of t-shirts creating a challenge to bring together in this quilt. The color mats around each standardize them to make them easier to bring together.
Miss Teruya's Bears

Miss Teruya's Bears - The bear is the school mascot at my granddaughter's elementary school. Her kindergarten class colored the "bear" drawings I provided on fabric squares. I pieced and machine quilted it using the school color and mascot. The quilt will be hung in the classroom and later sold at silent auction as a fundraiser.
30s Saturday Sampler

30s Saturday Sampler - This quilt was a Saturday Sampler. I created the setting, super simple because I knew that I wanted to scallop the border, talk about fun, I love it.

Spring Flowers - This is a broderie perse medallion quilt. I took a class from Judy Severson and learned this technique. The applique and quilting are both done by hand.

Kathy Heystee - I used the Bento Box pattern and then designed my own borders. The quilt is done in asia themed prints. The borders have words in Chinese using red embroidery floss. The quilt is quilted with red thread and the Chinese words are interpretted in English in the quilting. I was very excited that one of my Chinese friends could actually read the words I had in embroidery.

Just a Panel - I bought this panel that was suppose to be a small wall hanging. I then proceeded to cut it up and add borders. It turned out absolutely beautifully.
