Beaded Iris - Made for the Ultimate Quilt Guild Challenge, Nashville, TN Aug. 2006. It was one of 8 that won 2nd place for Salt Creek Quilter's Guild. Made it then received a book by Jan Krentz!
Cherries Nouveau

Cherries Nouveau - As a bee challenge, I drew the fushia crayon from a paper bag. We were to make a quilt that read as that color. The only other colors that could be added were black, white, and black and white or white and black. The center flower has Swarovski chrystal beads that are orange. However, they reflect the fushia beautifully.
Batik Bloomers

Batik Bloomers - Each wildflower is machine embroidery with applique on batik fabrics. I chose my own layout for the 16 blocks to fit a specific wall in my home. Each block too approximately 45 to 70 minutes to complete. I used my wonderful Bernina 180E.

Better Later Than Never - This was the second quilt I ever made. Started in 2002 and finished in 2006. I completed the top and could not deside on a border so there it sat until 2006. I wanted to give it to my sister for her 55 bitrthday but was a year late, so thats why I named it the way I did.
