Cherries Nouveau - As a bee challenge, I drew the fushia crayon from a paper bag. We were to make a quilt that read as that color. The only other colors that could be added were black, white, and black and white or white and black. The center flower has Swarovski chrystal beads that are orange. However, they reflect the fushia beautifully.

Batik Bloomers - Each wildflower is machine embroidery with applique on batik fabrics. I chose my own layout for the 16 blocks to fit a specific wall in my home. Each block too approximately 45 to 70 minutes to complete. I used my wonderful Bernina 180E.

Zak - This was a paint chip challenge. I had Kalamata Olive and Lagoon.. Made from a photo I took at the Milwaukee County Zoo

Eggplant Parmesan - I used guild challenge fabric and the strips and curves technique. After machine quilting Swarovski hot fix chrystals were added in complementary colors.

Buttered Chain - This quilt was completed shortly after taking a workshop with Billy Lauder. I used the remaining fabrics from the America in Bloom quilt!

those funny rumble animals - The quilt was made for our grandson Alexanda. I used animals from story books and enlarge them and add bits to them to fit into the quilt.

midnight lights - This quilt is constructed with hand holds and small pockets of the back to hold a face mask.

The Hen's the One - Apron material in the center surrounded by pieced blocks.

Rest Easy - This quilt was made for a cancer paitent.

Bears at School - Given to a teacher at an elementary school whose mascot is a bear.

Better Later Than Never - This was the second quilt I ever made. Started in 2002 and finished in 2006. I completed the top and could not deside on a border so there it sat until 2006. I wanted to give it to my sister for her 55 bitrthday but was a year late, so thats why I named it the way I did.

Hubby Quilt - My hubby wanted bright colors, well he got it! This is the first quilt I quilted on a longarm, then I bought me one.

My Brown(BLUE) Quilt - This is a stack and slash that was made mostly in ugly browns, some yellows and blues. My sister quilted it, put a yellow/blue floral print on back, and now it is a beautiful blue quilt.

its all greek to me - researched from the british musium and greek design book. for my daughter who read classics at University and has a love of greek pots .

Housewarming - This quilt was first published in the September, 2004 Quilt Sampler Magazine as the featured quilt of The Quilt House.

Basket wall quilt - I designed this small wall quilt as a project to teach at my local quilt shop. Lots of fun stuff to learn with half square triangles, fusing, and raw edge applique.
