Small North Star Labyrinth

Small North Star Labyrinth - This is a double-sided quilt with a classic three-circuit Labyrinth as the quilting design. It is beaded at the entrance, goal, and what I'll call the contemplative spot on both sides. The front (green/blue) has a beaded pattern similar to the North Star quilt block pattern. The fabric was hand painted. It is hand quilted with thick decorative thread using a big stitch method. It is a finger labyrinth and mean to be touched and used.

Ramblin' Rose Meets Jamestown - Since this is the four hundredth year since the founding of Jamestown, I thought it would be fun to make this block of the month quilt in a class at my LQS. It is a king size quilt and the largest I've made so far. We used Marti Michell template sets A and C. The fabric is by Maywood Studio.

40th Anniversary

40th Anniversary - This is a my first photo quilt. I made it for my brother-in-law & sister-in-law (husband's brother) 40th anniversary. It includes the words to the "Wedding Prayer" from their ceremony, a copy of their newspaper annoucement and their wedding invitation, it opens just like the orginial card. The pictures are from when the met, their wedding then every 3 or 4 years since. There are glass hearts are the corners of the "frames".

President's Red and White Ohio Star - Members of the Merrimack Valley Quilters, Haverhill, MA made the Ohio Star blocks for me when I was president of the guild. I pieced this quilt and it was machine quilted by Jeanne Elliott of New Hampshire. When the quilt was washed some of the red blocks ran!
