Anchors Aweigh - I finally finished my first quilt top. I've worked on it for 1 1/2 years. I'm not sure how to quilt it yet. This was really important to me because I was in the navy as well as everyone in my family, except my grandfather who was army (we forgive him), my husband and I were stationed together, and that's where I met my very best friend.

Teresa's Leaves - I had a friend that loves green and wanted a quilt with leaves, and this one seemed just right. I used the picture in the book to make it.

Flag quilt - I pieced most of this quilt in our pickup truck traveling from Florida to Idaho and back and all the states inbetween.

In The Garden - a challenge for our guild. We had two fabrics to use and a theme of a song. There are 1242 pieces. Mine was In The Garden hymn.

Warm-N-Cozy - This is a flannel lap quilt that was made for a friends father to keep him warm. He liked it so much that at first he would not use it for fear of getting it dirty. However, eventually he has begun using and enjoying it.

Leap of Faith - This Art Quilt was made for The Quilting Arts Magazine Challenge in March 2007. I used Organza sheets to print words and based the sayings and words on "The Secret". Shiny areas are old telecom filters (tiny mirrors), caught under pockets of tulle. On 10/6/07 this quilt will be showing at a juried quilt show in Lakeport, CA. It is the very first quilt of mine to be judged.

Geneva's quilt - Took sewing pattern and did a few things different. Added ribbon.

Patriotic

Memory - Took original pattern and did Embroidery in the four corners with my daughters BD and also her 3 children's BD. She was divorced at the time.

Blue for me - Took a class and learned how to do this and keep it for me.

Rally - This was adapted from a rally quilt design. I changed one of the blocks to something I liked.
