Step Into the Colors of the World - Curved block designed by me. Fabrics are people skin tones. Quilting is face profiles. Mirror is so viewer can be part of the quilt.
Johnathan's Quilt - This quilt was made for our grandson's birthday. He played baseball and football in school and I embroidered baseball and football players on the plain blocks. Used stars and fabrics with stars to set the embroidered blocks. He loved the quilt and his sisters told me he always wrapped up in it to watch television in the evening.
Butterfly Quilt - This quilt was made for our oldest granddaughter's 14th birthday. She allowed me to enter this quilt in the California Mid State Fair. The free motion quilting on the quilt does not show in the picture but each butterfly block is quilted with a different wildflower.
St. Kevin's Monastery ll - This art quilt is of the Trinity Church, one of 7 church ruins in St. Kevin's Monastery City, Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. See it at the - ShawCramerGallery.com
Seaside Retreat - I designed this quilt for a 3-day retreat sponsor by Quadrille Quilting. It was held at the shore, so I thought I should teach a quilt representing our location.
Blustery Day - The leaves are 3 dimensional and quilted to the quilt through the center stem. I pieced the back from the leftover fabric and the hanging sleeve from extra small blocks.
Winterberry Star - I designed this quilt to be a tree skirt, but could be used as a wall -hanging- cutting into the center for the tree skirt was sooo... hard!
Winter Stars - I collected 'blue winter' fabrics for several years before starting on this, my first 'large' quilt not from a pattern. It is my 'January' quilt for the wall gallery in my dining room.
