Patriot Hearts
Name of Maker: Jolleen, Jane E., Linda and, Jane F.
Patriot Hearts - I was experimenting making a heart and came up with the center and thought it didn't look very good. Then our guild had a round robbin so I thought it would be fun to see what more talented people came up with for the borders to make my "ugly block" spectacular. Well, these 3 ladies exceeded my expectations! Each one did a border. I almost cried when it came back to me. It came together really well.
Where the lost things go
Name of Maker: marnie
Where the lost things go - Made for NM State Fair Guild challenge to use turquoise and purple fabric I put in the path. The flowers were fussy cut and machine appliqued on.
The Marketplace
Name of Maker: doctorjudy
The Marketplace - This quilt depicts the scene of Quilters' Marketplace, a beloved quilt shop that had been located on Atlantic Avenue in beautiful downtown Delray Beach, Florida, until its owner closed the shop in 2006. It was here that I first became involved in quilting when I retired and it was here that I formed many wonderful friendships.

Lovely Lupines
Name of Maker: Sue Rapp
Lovely Lupines - After I made a mistake in the original directions, I had to improvise to come up with a pleasing solution to my goof. I like the results, thank you very much!
Autumn braid
Name of Maker: Jean Stewart
Autumn braid - This wonderful pattrn was very easy to make. I did this in warm quilters weight flannel and backed it in flannel too. The batting is light weight poly so it would not add any more weight to the quilt. I quilted it on my HQ 16 long arm machine. I can't wiat for our next cold Wyoming winter to sleep warm and cozy.
Sizzling Salsa
Name of Maker: doctorjudy
Sizzling Salsa - This quilt is a result of a class given by a guild member at our guild's first retreat in 2005. I decided to take the traditional nine-patch out of its comfort zone to a more sizzling, hot zone.
Wander and Roam
Name of Maker: Jean Stewart
Wander and Roam - This is a quilt I first saw made up in our local quilt store. This was one of the easiest and most fun patterns I have used in a long time. I used many of the Christmas fabrics in my stash and bought only two for contrast.
Deep Sea Treasures
Name of Maker: doctorjudy
Deep Sea Treasures - My first ever art quilt. I was a nervous wreck, but it was the start of a whole new way of life.
Beach Cottages
Name of Maker: doctorjudy
Beach Cottages - This was the quilt that really started it all. It was my first ever experience with machine piecing AND paper piecing and free motion quilting. Boy, was I confused... But I had a blast spending three and a half hours picking out the fun fabrics, and in the class I took to learn the technique I met several new, wonderful friends. And the rest is history...
Special Delivery
Name of Maker: doctorjudy
Special Delivery - I made this quilt to celebrate the birth of my granddaughter Isabella. Rather than have her actually use the quilt, mommy and daddy hung it on the wall.
Ethan's Chantelle
Name of Maker: E. Crout & L. Musladin
Ethan's Chantelle - The fabrics for this "Caveman" style wall hanging were selected by my 9 year old son, Ethan. He cut the tulip shapes and I competed the quilt.
Natalie's
Name of Maker: L. Musladin
Natalie's - The adorable focus fabric has fancy dresses, shoes, wands, crowns and butterflies. The quilted images in each block were enlarged from the focus fabric.
Grama Libbie's Crazy Quilt
Name of Maker: Elizabeth (Libbie) Davis Foulds
Grama Libbie's Crazy Quilt - This quilt is in two strips, with silks, velvets and cottons. I believe my great grandmother made it before she was married because she embroidered her initials on one patch.
