The Living Christ
Name of Maker: Jennilyn
The Living Christ - The reason I wanted so badly to do this Lenten Project and celebrate through quilting the coming of Easter is my belief in "The Living Christ" a document published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints telling what we belive about Christ Resurrected. It doesn't explain why we do not have crosses in the LDS churches, but gives a glimpse into what we believe and why Easter is a sacred holiday for us. Mormons are Christians! We just don't follow the Nicean Creed decisions defining God. (Ahh, but that would be another quilt!)

Name of Maker: Lynda Sink
Rick's star - I started this quilt on May 1st. My brother was a techie (he still used a slide rule) and was intriqued with the design and helped choose the fabric colors. He saw it on May 29 when it was almost completed. He passed away on May 31 and I named it in his memory. I miss him terribly and everytime I see this quilt as I walk down the hall I remember him and our last time together.
