Noelle's 10th Birthday Quilt - My niece Noelle's favorite color is lime green, but I couldn't quite bring myself to make any entirely lime green quilt!
Shauna's 10th Birthday Quilt - My niece Shauna's favorite colors are red and purple. This and her twin sister's quilt were the first I had quilted with a long-arm machine.
Red and Black Pineapple Twist - I loved collecting the black and red fabrics that I used. The magazine picture with the pattern of this quilt was blue and yellow.
Aquamarine Ambience - NOT - Using the designs from the Aquamarine Ambience book and CD, I made this quilt for my daughter-in-law. She requested a "throw" for her family room. I have threatened my grandsons with their lives if they use it to build a fort.
Some Day I'll Be Done - Photo shows detail of my on-going portable project using the English paper-piecing method. Top was finally completed Dec. 31, 2006, but I still have to decide how to quilt it.
Clowns all Around - I saw this patteren in a quilt magazine and fell in love with it. I wrote to Ms. Curtis and told her
I was going to be a grandmother and I wanted to make this quilt. As it turned out my daughter did not like clowns so I let my neice use it for her new baby. Now the quilt is back home with me. My neice's little girl has grown to old for it and I will never
grow too old for it. I have always loved Clowns.
Kid Art quilt - these quilt was made by me and children. I embroider the blocks with my machine and the children colored them in. Then I added sashing and borders. It was fun having the kids get involved.
Oh, The Places We've Been - We gathered patches as we traveled for (and with) my daughter. Now she can enjoy them everyday in her living room. I saved a couple of blank squares for future adventures.
Civil War Double 4-patch - Quilt is about twin size with stitch in the ditch quilting and then from corner to corner on blocks. Plan was to add quilting in light areas-not done yet!
In Memory of Wayne Nolan Capurro - Wayne loved clothes so the books are made from his clothes. The titles are things we did and are remembrances of places we went.
