Gold Star Quilt

Gold Star Quilt - I made this quilt for the Operation Homefront Quilts project. Operation Homefront Quilts was started by Jessica Porter in Florida. Her goal is to make quilts for all the families of the soldiers who have been killed in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Queen's B&B
Name of Maker: quilter2964
The Queen's B&B - A gift to my in-laws to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. My MIL and I have the exact same name (I know, weird!) so to distinguish whom you are calling for when we're both around, she's the Queen and I'm the princess. She has a dream of owning a B&B some day--for now, her guest room will have to do--hence the name of this quilt "The Queen's B&B."
It's That Darn Butternut Squash
Name of Maker: quilter2964
It's That Darn Butternut Squash - This quilt got it's name because I could NOT for the life of me remember the name of the inspiration fabric UNTIL the quilt top was done--it was like a curse or something!! (Now I can easily recall that my inspiration fabric was Sweet Potato Pie--but all I could ever get to come into my head while I was making this top was "butternut squash"--weird!!)
Amber's Birthday Quilt 2007
Name of Maker: Gloria Gunderson
Amber's Birthday Quilt 2007 - The center is a novelty print fabric with a small inner border and a coordinationg "piano-key" outer border. I purchased the coordinating fabics as a fat-quarter sampler and purchased the center yardage seperately.

Music Teacher Memory Quilt
Name of Maker: Barb Ide
Music Teacher Memory Quilt - Interior blocks were created by elementary students using dye markers on white cotton. B/W music themed companion fabrics were used as sashing and internal border. Sentimental photos were printed on fabric and outlined with primary colors. They were then attached to the outer border. Long-arm quilter, Su Smith, used music notes and meanderings to complete the piece.

Fan Runner with Signatures on the back
Name of Maker: Linda Bleeke
Fan Runner with Signatures on the back - This runner was made as a gift for my boss who retired this year. The back had a special space for people to write a little message at the party we threw for her. She loves it and it matches her Victorian decor perfectly.

Kolden's quilt
Name of Maker: Lynn Wilson
Kolden's quilt - Just completed this quilt for a baby gift for a friend of my youngest daughter. I sold my MegaQuilter before it was finished, so it is the last quilt done on that machine. Will get my long arm soon. Had to finish the binding after she opened the quilt at the shower! Isn't that like a quilter?
