Happy Faces
Name of Maker: Patty White
Happy Faces - Home for a few months during her time as a missionary in South Africa, our daughter asked me to make her a quilt to take back with her. I had been sewing most of my life but never had gotten around to making a quilt. She searched through the many quilt books and patterns I had collected thru the years and found the one she thought was perfect. She loved the happy little girls. As I started I had no clue exactly how or what to do, but learned a lot and have been happily quilting ever since.
Peaceful Villages
Name of Maker: Patty White
Peaceful Villages - Japanese friends brought the fabrics for this quilt from Japan, and it took me several months to muster the courage to cut it! Some of the fabrics had been used in garments and resold! How special is that! I am very pleased with the way it turned out and very pleased with the permanent memories I have of our special Japanese friends.
Black Lacquer Luster
Name of Maker: Patty White
Black Lacquer Luster - Our son and daughter-in-law asked me to make this quilt for them to give her brother Mike for Christmas. What fun! Our son selected and purchased the fabrics and Mike loves it! One request was that I use high loft batting. Sadly my machine doesn't quilt that very well so I hand quilting it on my big frame. Not so bad as I listened to 8 or 9 books on tape during the process:)
Kokopelli

Kokopelli - Played with some of my handpainted fabrics. After Ricky Tim's class in Escondido I went to Taos New Mexico and decided that this would be a perfect background for Kokopelli.
