Whirlagig - Made for my sister from pattern purchased at my local quilt shop, Common Threads. My sister picked the pattern and I used thirties repro fabrics. My first large quilt to machine quilt on my Bernina.

My Cherry Quilt - This was made at Alex's retreat. I used her Cherry block and put it on point and used a block that I found in a Thimbleberry book.

Marissa's Bug Jars - This was adapted from a purchased pattern, that I no longer have. It's quilted with glow in the dark thread

Impressions of Spring - 3D Mixed Media Art Quilt using a scrap background with machine & hand quilting, machine & hand embroidery.

Luminosity Stars - The only change I made to the pattern was to enlarge it from the wallhanging size shown in the magazine to a proper "nap-size". Nap quilts must be long enough to tuck under your chin and completely cover and wrap under your feet. All fabrics used were part of the Luminosity series by Paula Nadelstern.

Good Friday - When I saw this pattern I knew I had to do it for my husband. I gave it to him on Good Friday and he loves it. It was a joy to make.

Pieces of Life - When I first saw the Dear Jane quilt in 1997, I knew I had to make it. The Dear Jane list was a very important part of doing this project. My journal is 2 inches thick.....it's hard to say briefly what it meant to me. It touched my life with much sharing, great love, life long friends, *Hi April*, and confidence to try any block. The name "Pieces of Life" seemed to fit it perfectly.

The wine Bottle - This was started in a class that taught blending photos with fabrics. Included are photos of various wineries that we have visited. SO what better than to create a wine bottle.

California Missions - Quilt contains 7 of the 21 California Missions. All patterns include a brief history of the blocok subjects (I got help with this from California 4th graders!)

Aloha Hawaii - 23 individual pictorial applique patterns from my Hawaii Photographs.
