Grandma's Goodies - I used crocheted motifs, lace, gloves, tatting and handkerchiefs belonging to my grandmother. It's a great way to be able to display things usually stuck in a drawer.
Blooming Kitties Quilted Sweatshirt - I used the kittie pockets and flowers pattern and appliqued them to a strip pieced sweatshirt. I wanted to use the Breast Cancer fabric and create my own "jacket".
Raymond's Quilt - My nephew wanted it made in his school colors -- black and gold. At first I thought "black and gold"?!? However, when I added enough white, it seemed to work out okay.
Roses and Sunshine - I revised a rose block found in a Thimbleberries book, but designed the rest of the blocks and the quilt design myself in EQ5. It was 104 in. square.
Yellow and Red nine patch - This quilt was made using 9 patch blocks made and exchanged online. I added yellow squares and a red and yellow flower print border. It makes a very cheerful quilt on the bed.
Petals of Curves - Designed by drawing a block design with curved lines & then machine-piecing 4 identical blocks to join to make the quilt. Made during an online class through QU with Michele Scott.
Pansies Please - This was my first needleturned applique piece done during a beginner applique class, but has remained one of my favorite. All fabric for the applique is batik.
Gravlax Anyone II ? - A Mary Ellen Hopkins technique from her book "Its Okay to Sit on My Quilt". I made one as a gift and my husband liked it so much that I had to make one for him. It is hanging in our dining room.
