Camellia - Enlarged the Camellia pattern and made 4 different colorations of this flower and put them together with sashing and borders to make this 63" x 63" quilt.

Batik Fans for Mom - this pattern was brought to my quilt club done in scrap fabrics. I saw it immediately done in deep batiks and new modern fabrics. I love the way it turned out so I made it three more times, once in 30's, once in baby flannels and this one. I am saving the quilting part until I go to Salt Lake City in Sept to learn more about my new HQ 16.

Kevin's T-shirts - This is how my husband looked when I met him 20 years ago at Digital Equipment Corporation in Marlboro MA. He could wear t-shirts to work so he had quite the collection. He was a "Deadhead" then so had lots of dyes. I liked the bright colors... I could always find him at the mall. The top border and the bottom border are photos of him wearing many of the shirts in the quilt. Cathy quilted peace signs in the borders and did a wavy gravy design in the middle. He loves it of course.

Deb's Wedding Quilt - This is a quilt I made for my sister when she got married. We actually had used the Pansy fabrics for her table runners at her wedding. Then I disassembled them and made them into her quilt. I actually started her quilt while on a mini retreat at Ocean Shores with my second sister. It was nice to quilt as long as we wanted, wander on the beach, visit a local Quilt Show and shop in town.

Spring Greens - This small quilt was an experiment to try out the shadow trapunto method using bright green felt behind a sheer white batiste. Freehand quilting later enhanced with machine zigzag around the flower, coloring with Tsukineko inks and colored pencils, Angelina fibers, and Swarovski crystals.
