Mystery Quilt
Name of Maker: Barbara Romanufa
Mystery Quilt - This was my very first experience with quilting. The piecing went fine and was fun, but after I was done and had a quilting friend help with the pinning, I just got puckers on the back and it was a mess. Had to unpick all I had done and then sent it to a long arm quilter and have never liked it since. She did a good job, I just think I should have finished it. Later we decided it was my walking foot that was the problem, but I still didn't try quilting again for another six years or so.
Flower Basket

As Seen on TV
Name of Maker: Chelley Smith
As Seen on TV - I was laying in bed one night watching Will & Grace. They stayed in a hotel in the Poconos and quilts very similar to this were on the beds in the room. I sketched out the design right then and bought the fabric the next day! It has been quilted, but is still awaiting binding.
