Curved Log Cabin - I took a class in Lockport, NY and completed this quilt based on the instructions from the teacher. What I originally brought to the quilt, was a bobbin embroidery technique in the center blocks and around one of the curves, for which I used a Bernina Embroidery CD--Linda Grabrowski? and Ricki Tims thread--Razzle Dazzle. The second picture shows the embroidery in the center. The quilting is a giant stipple with feathers

This is the quilt that I submitted and it won for my quilt shop. I was extremely proud because I had never done this before. I did the pattern myself and appliqued the entire quilt.
