Haunted House - I embroidered this design after splitting it into 8 sections on my own

Curved Log Cabin - I took a class in Lockport, NY and completed this quilt based on the instructions from the teacher. What I originally brought to the quilt, was a bobbin embroidery technique in the center blocks and around one of the curves, for which I used a Bernina Embroidery CD--Linda Grabrowski? and Ricki Tims thread--Razzle Dazzle. The second picture shows the embroidery in the center. The quilting is a giant stipple with feathers

Biddy's Reach - Based on a 1900 picture of the log cabin my great-great grandparents built when they settled in Wisconsin in the 1840's. Named after my great-great grandmother Bridget Gorman.

Maharaja's Garden - I hand appliqued batik fabrics and enhanced the design with beading. Quilted with my version of McTavishing.

Embroidered Peacocks - 25 years to Hand Embroider by Gertrude French (mom) Put together by Candace. Gertrude began quilting and when she got sick, Candace finished. Totally Quilted by hand

Rhapsody in Blue - This was a quilt designed for a Challenge which was ------- any piece of music with the word "Blue" in it, each person had a given piece of blue fabric to be used in it. I had always wanted ro tackle a Bargello quilt and I thought this was the perfect opportunity!

Welcome Sarah - This quilt was made on a muslin background with machine applique. The faces and blanket are hand-colored with pastel chalks.

Eye of the Gull - The gull is totally threadpainted on 10 oz. cotton canvas duck using a large variety of thread. The bird alone was cut off the canvas and machine appliqued to the sky background.

Still Life with Lemons - Juried into 'Transforming Tradition' an exhibition by The Quilter's Guild of the British Isles: a wall hanging rather than a bed quilt, a picture frame rather than a binding, raw edge applique rather than turned under.

Paintbrush - This is a fabric postcard that was donated to Fiber Arts For A Cause. It is machine embroidered and machine quilted. The edges are machine zigzagged.

Floating Stars With Embroidered Roses - What I did with this pattern was everyother block I embroidered Roses for my granddaughter for Christmas 2006'

Christmas BOM 2009 - This quilt was quite a challenge there is lots of embellishments added and all of the patterns were designed by a friend.

Tuckers Log Cabin Quilt - I used Eleanores Quilt In a Day book. This is one of my favorite patterns. He wanted these colors and I loved it.

Hot Air Balloons - Last year in 2006 my girlfriend and I went on a shop hop in Sisters Oregon, after the shop hop there was a challenge for all the fat quarters that we collected along the way. This is the quilt that I submitted and it won for my quilt shop. I was extremely proud because I had never done this before. I did the pattern myself and appliqued the entire quilt.
