Gingko Princesses - This quilt was inspired by the fabric line from Loni Rossi and her princess patterns. I wanted to combine the three patterns into one larger quilt and use the gingko fabric for a border. The geishas are hand appliqued and I added gold embellishments.

Na ashjeii Asdza "Spider Woman" - I took a class from Santa Fe Quilting on Fabric Collage. We used Rosemary Eichorns' The Art of Fabric Collage as a resource. The fabric was old and new fabric from my stash. I discharged the fabric behind Spider Woman's head. The RC Gorman style woman was a piece of AH fabric that I bought years ago. She was just what I needed. Spider Woman is a Navajo figure related to their origin on Earth.

Which Came First- Chicken or the Egg? - This was a quilt thatI made in the Aztec Bee. Catherine Bell designed the block and how to move the fabric so that the star was all the same fabric. I fussy cut two of the stars using fabric of just chichen heads. My mother has a collection of chickens so I used my chicken stash to make her quilt to hang in our great room. We also have a wierd assortment of chickens that wonder about our place.
