Jayhawks Forever - I designed this quilt with EQ4 for my son who is a fellow Jayhawk. That is, we both are alums of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. I contacted the public relations office of the university and received permission to use the Jayhawk figure in this quilt as a personal gift to my son.

Salsa - This was a mystery quilt project. The quilting includes chili peppers, sizzle suns, suns, and curly cues. It is quilted with gold colored thread.
A Day at the Park

A Day at the Park - This was a 'take along' project. I worked on it while waiting in doctor's offices, etc. The owner bought it while her husband was in Iraq and it made her smile, so she calls it her 'Happy Quilt'.
OOPS!

OOPS! - The nine patch blocks were made with a small group and exchanged over the course of a year. The bright blocks in between were hand dyed with another group but the colors were much different than expected...thus the name OOPS!

Rooster and His Chicks - I used Florine's pattern for the central rooster and my own design for the chicken blocks which were inspired by Gwen Marston's chicken quilts. The layout was my own design. Chicken wire fabric and printed chicken fabrics were used to finish this theme quilt.
