The Guinea Pig Quilt - Sampler quilt fom LQS. First real quilt quilted on my Longarm. I experimented with different techniques hence the name of the quilt.

Garden Path - I created this design to use the pieced circles that I wanted to try. The machine quilting uses silver metallic on the black background and cottons on the rest.

Dawn to Dusk in Sunflower Garden - The quilt uses two sized New York Beauty blocks. Batiks were used. The border incorporates the circular pattern of the blocks.

Star of My Heart - Stars and hearts inthe center, with a folded inner border. All borders are mitered. This was fun to make I played with the HST until the hearts appeared. My Husband named it.

Tribute to Calico - The second in a series, crazy patch rows with a border print between. Embelished with pearls, seed beads and bugel beads.

The Gold Fish Bowl - This quilt was started in a class with Margaret Miller at the National Show in Columbus Ohio 2005. The border has tiny gold fish. The wavy strip border was cut and sewn so the the fish are all swimming the same way. This is the first quilt I quilted with my Nolting Hobby Quilter.

Blue Stars in Winter - This quilt was made using the Stack and Whack technique. The way the fabric is cut creates the different colored star patterns. Each one is different. I used a lighter blue fabric that had various gradations in color and then a white dotted dark blue fabric for the sashings. The outside border the fabric used for the stars.

Mom's Quilt - I made this quilt for my mother's 60th birthday.

Brad's Batiks - I made this for my brother for Christmas in 2004.

Lancaast Trip Challenge - This wallhanging was made in response to a challenge after a bus trip to Lancaster PA. The farm fabric was the challenge fabric. The star is my first attempt at hand piecing, I saw an antique quilt made with this star. The Tree Everlasting was a baby quit we saw. The applique is the Lancaster Rose. The patches represent the frugal use of material. It is truly a memory quilt of a wonderful trip.

Quilt for Nikki - This quilt was made for my daughter. Her love for everything oriental inspired me to make this pattern.

Christmas Mexican Star - This wall hanging was created in a class I took to show how to do this design. I used a Christmas color theme.

Scottie Collection - This quilt was made for my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law. They have always owned Scottie's so naturally this was the perfect quilt for them.

Baskets of snowflakes - I hand pieced and appliqued the baskets and wanted something to fill in the setting squares. I added the embroidery.

Lauren's Quilt - Made from scraps and antique fabrics for oldest granddaughter. Some of the scraps are from garments I made for her when she was a young girl and she remembers them.

Hanover Hawks - Our Middle School had a silent auction fundraiser. I quickly thought up this idea and made it in about 1 week. It's not fancy, but I used a hawk head off a school drink bottle and designed the center with it. I have never appliqued before, I thought it turned out pretty well. Kyra put in 23 tickets so she could win the quilt. I was very happy with that.

Pretty Fences - I made this quilt for myself. The backing is chinelle and it is so cozy and warm.
