Lucky Ducky - Designed on EQ5 as a baby quilt. Ducks paper pieced using fuzzy fabric with lightweight interfacing. All other fabric is hand dyed.

Bluenote 1 and 2 - Paper pieced using Carol Doak blocks. Center block machine quilted, surrounding areas hand quilted

For My Aunt's Husband - Designed on EQ5 as an enlarged single block, using Thimbleberries fabric.

Baby Quilt - I don't remember the name of the pattern or where I got it but I will continue to research it.

Starry, Starry Night - Gift for (brother) Cam and Nat's "Engagement & House Warming". Their colour scheme is blues & greys and I found a Charm Square pack that exactly suited, and then needed a design. I saw this design at a UFO (UnFinished Objects) retreat weekend and it all came together. The name combines the stars and the colours with the first line of the 70's popsong, "Vincent" - "Starry, starry night. Paint your palette blue and grey".

Queen of the Cats - I was making samples for a class I wanted to teach on fabric collage. I enjoyed working in this smaller format, even though I tend to prefer making useful quilts. This is a companion piece to another collage "Antioxidants".

Antioxidants - This was my first attempt at fabric collage for samples for a class offering. I enjoyed collecting the fabrics and using dome different techniques.

Hearts of Americana - My first quilt blocks ever! Fussed with adding the last border, but did it because the pattern called for it. Just need to sandwich, quilt and bind it!

Zen - Zen Quilt (art quilt) made for a silent auction for my daughters medical school, NCNM in Portland, Or.

Quilt for baby girl - I have always loved Winding Ways. I bought templates at a quilt guild meeting and when I was asked to make a quilt for a friend's grandbaby I thought a small quilt was a good place to start. I love this block - there is something very soothing about the gentle curves and the circular motion.
