He would laugh and say "You just love to buy fabric, cut it into small pieces then sew it back together". I miss him so and I thank God I have my quilting and embroidery to keep me going.

Kate's A-mazing - Five materials were used to make a geometric design of a maze. The name of the fabrics used are Funky Monkeys, Nature, Tropical Safari, Kaleidoscope and Freckles. The orginal pattern was for a wall hanging.

Cabin Quilt - Twelve embroidered pictures: cabin, moose, firn, canoe, fish, bear, fly rod and bag, duck, pine cone etc. Half triangles sewed to embroidered block and to log cabin blocks on point. Our retired friends came and finished our basement so I wanted to make them a quilt. This picture only shows half of it but the quilt rests on the back of devan in their mountain home in Colorado. I must make a trip to CO to get a better picture of it!

Kerri's Green Squares - My daughter chose this for her "wedding" quilt. I had to enlarge the pattern to make if for her bed. It is all paper pieced. She chose the color and fabric for each block. It is monochromatic. She is an art student...i can pick hues to match, but she is excellent at color and pattern combination.

There are signatures by family members, and the center sq. is embroidered from Peggy Waltman's pattern "Thank You Lord". ("The peace you send me makes it all okay. I can do anything with your arms around me. Thank you Lord. Amen")
