Rainbow Compass - I pieced this quilt differently than in Judy's book, but did use her paper piecing pattern.

Wayne's Quilt - I made this quilt for my best friend, my husband. He passed away Jan. 1, 2000 he loved to sneak up behind me when I was quilting and watch. He would laugh and say "You just love to buy fabric, cut it into small pieces then sew it back together". I miss him so and I thank God I have my quilting and embroidery to keep me going.

"My Heart's at Sea" - I have wanted to make a Storm at Sea quilt for over 15 years and FINALLY took a class. As much as I enjoy nearly every aspect of quilting, this one was (and IS) very special to my heart. I LOVED EVERY MINUTE SPENT ON IT!! "THIS" one is my "Passion Quilt"!!

Summer Evening Porch - I wanted to do an "evening version" of this quilt and knew I needed 10 fabrics for it. The next day, this line of fabrics came to the shop and there were exactly 10 in it!! My decision was MADE for me!

Tusher Trout - Combination of collage fish on a background of multi-striped watercolour feeling strips. I TRIED to get the effect of sunlight shining through water.

Images of Washington - Every year the Wa State Internet Quilts exchange blocks, each member makes as many of one block as they want blocks swapped. My quilt represents two years of the swaps. I made the crabs and the blue herons.

Wonderful Wonders - I took the State Blocks and flowers and placed them in EQ6 to resized them. I made this wall hanging for an "All About Me" challange quilt for our guild.

July 4th Birthday - Forty 18 inch blocks with 2 inch strips sewn on batting and backing. An assortment of 38 different patriotic fabrics used in strips.

Kate's A-mazing - Five materials were used to make a geometric design of a maze. The name of the fabrics used are Funky Monkeys, Nature, Tropical Safari, Kaleidoscope and Freckles. The orginal pattern was for a wall hanging.

Cabin Quilt - Twelve embroidered pictures: cabin, moose, firn, canoe, fish, bear, fly rod and bag, duck, pine cone etc. Half triangles sewed to embroidered block and to log cabin blocks on point. Our retired friends came and finished our basement so I wanted to make them a quilt. This picture only shows half of it but the quilt rests on the back of devan in their mountain home in Colorado. I must make a trip to CO to get a better picture of it!

Madeline's Quilt - This was made for my apt mgr as an Xmas gift. After she received it, she told me she always wanted a quilt. She still talks about it to this day!

Hugs & Kisses - This was a wedding present for my good friend's daughter.

Kerri's Green Squares - My daughter chose this for her "wedding" quilt. I had to enlarge the pattern to make if for her bed. It is all paper pieced. She chose the color and fabric for each block. It is monochromatic. She is an art student...i can pick hues to match, but she is excellent at color and pattern combination.
