Visit from a Great Blue - This quilt features free motion embroidery free motion machine quilting. Many of the fabrics were hand dyed by LindaD. This beautiful gift from God is a frequent visitor to my back yard.

None yet - This is to be sent to an injured soldier at the direction of the Quilts Of Valor program. Wanted to use patriotic colors.

Foxglove Garden - This was a block of the month quilt using Jeana Kimball's patterns. It took me five years to complete it but I think it is my favorite quilt that I have made.

Memories - This quilt depicts different cactus's in the desert and the star is the sun shining down on all the different plants. My first designed by me quilt.

Bowtie quilt - I made this as a throw for myself You can put this together so many different ways. Each way looks different. Fun to do.

The fishbowl quilt - different fish in ea. bowl. Learned attic window technique with this. Ea. bowl is it's own world. The kitty is dreaming of fishing. 1 yr. quilting.

Betty's Quilt - Quilt top originally pieced by Betty (Lisa's mom) who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's while she was working on this quilt top. Lisa asked me to rework the top because of the condition of the top and I agreed. I pulled the top apart and resewed all of the pinwheels. Then I added the original red border and pieced the outside border with leftover pieces of the original. Finally, I quilted the top after taking several machine quilting classes and doing several smaller projects. This was the first large quilt that I had machine quilted. Lisa's mom is in the final stages of Alzheimer's but Lisa has a quilt to remind her of her mom be fore the disease.

floating amish sampler - it is a 34.5 X 34.5 wall hanging. the blocks look like they are floating off of the quilt.

Stepping Out in My Red Hat - Made this wall hanging for her birthday.

Out to Lunch - Made for new baby of friends who decided to do nursery in frogs. I LOVE FROGS!

Get Your Sunglasses! - Made for best friend's first grandchild. I really enjoy working with BRIGHT colors...can you tell?

Arturo's Stars - I made this for my nephew's 7th birthday. He specifically requested a red quilt.. I had already bought the blue robot print fabric with the intention of doing a stack 'n whack quilt. I immediately ran to my batik stash and found the perfect orange-red hand dye which I used for the stars' background.

Autum Sunrise - This is foundation pieced using the QuiltSmart foundations pattern. This was my 1st time using 100% silk and am very happy with the result.

Slim Pickins - This quilt was done for my daughter. She picked the pattern and the fabric.

Peppermint Hearts - This was my first log cabin quilt, I would like to make another it was great fun. I gave this to my daughter for Christmas 2006.
