This is an angel blanket donated to the neonatal ICU at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI. It is to be given to the family of a baby who passes away there. My baby daughter died there in 2003.

North to Alaska - Inspired by brother Bill's trip to Alaska; incorporated Holly Taylor printed blocks with log cabin and bear paw blocks. Custom quilted by Kathy's Fancy Stitching.

Memory Quilt - Memory quilt I made for my executive who was retiring. It consists of fabric that has some meaning for things in his life, as well as photos. This is the first quilt I ever made.

Fall Splendor - My husband is a wild turkey hunter and asked for a turkey quilt. I made the quilt from a photograph -- completely original.

Butterflies for Barb - My father cross stitched these blocks for my mother. I pieced the top and quilted it. It was the first quilt I quilted on my frame..should have picked an easier one!

Red works - Some of the embroidered blocks designs are from a magazine so old that the pages are yellow and there is no cover. Some are from other magazines with various changes

Family Handprints - Handprints of all family members for our first grandson.

No Name - This is the other 8 blocks from the BOM kits - adding a 9th block from the leftover pieces and matching stash to make the 9-patch construction.

Spring Blooms - Machine pieced and quilted. All of the flower basket squares have some glass beading added to the blooms. This quilt was done by me through the "Saturday Sampler" program at The Quilt Patch in Tecumseh, MI. We meet monthly and get our material for the next month free if we have completed the previous square. It's lots of fun and we always get a lesson of some sort during the meeting. When the year is over, you buy the materials to finish up your quilt.

Canada Maple - When a local quilt shop had a July 1st contest, I came up with this version of the maple leaf. The quilt is made with red & white blocks - 1" finished. I won viewer's choice!

Mom's Favorite - My mother loves Oriental themes. I made the quilt on the wall for her birthday in 2005. Of all the things I have made her, she stills loves this best and shows it to any visitor. My mother is 88 as of 2007.

Wedding Quilt - This quilt was made by my grandmother as a wedding gift. She couldn't find fabric with my wedding colors until she went to a garage sale and found a curtain and cut it up to use. She was a very crafty person (crochet, needlepoint, quilts, latch hook, etc.). She made each grandchild an afghan, needlepoint pillow, latch hook rug and a quilt. This quilt was the last thing I got because she passed away a month after our wedding on Mother's Day. I still have the quilt and afghan and will treasure them FOREVER!!!
