True Colors (aka White Lines) - An old ufo star I had tried, over several years kept adding more. Finally finished for a special exhibit. Black batiks, multi colored bright batiks, machine pieced, machine applique, hand applique, machine quilted on my Gammill Vision 2.
Autumn Pathways - Wholecloth quilt, freehand quilted on a longarm quilter, using trapunto to enhance the flying geese, then the entire quilt was painted with pastels, and beaded to create a rich feeling of a bright autumn day.
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star - This little quilt was adapted from a 12" block pattern I saw on the Quilters Cache web site. I down sized the block to a 3" block. Added border sashing with little diamonds. Loved working with Ricky's hand dyes for this mini. It was paper pieced using June Tailor Perfect Piecing transparent foundation sheets. Just left the non-woven product in the quilt and it was a great stabilizer for keeping the fabric from distorting.
Cyrollalee - Cyrrollalee was made by myself and Carol Moellers to celebrate our friendship. The word means to protect the heart of a friend. We later gifted it to our friend Jim West. It was featured in the Gammill adds for 2013.
My Secret Flower Garden - A mosaic quilt. All the flowers are fusible raw edge appliqued.

Earth to Quilters - This is one of the many embroiderblocks of the month program created by the HoopSisters. I wanted the "Earth" to stand out so I didn't use a background that had a lot of pattern to it. I really love doing these embroider in the hoop blocks. It makes quilting so easy!
Sedona Star - The Quilt Show Block of the Month 2012. I didn't start it until Jan. 2013, and I'm so glad that I started it and didn't let this one get away. I learned so much and enjoy every step of the construction process. Sara Vedeler's directions were so easy to follow! It gave me a chance to use my embroidery machine for something other than quilt labels. The 3rd place ribbon at the AQS Grand Rapids Quilt Show would not be possible without the outstanding quilting Sheri Zalar created and Sarah Vedeler for her wonderful design!
Red and Yellow, Blue and Green - My four year old grandson asked me one day if I would make him "a blanket." When I asked what color, he responded "red and yellow, blue and green". A gift for his fifth birthday next week, this quick and simple design is my thirty-first quilt, but it is the third that I machine quilted on my domestic machine.
Adalyn's Quilt: Metamorphosis - Designed to go with a science and math themed nursery, the quilting includes a continuous helix in the border and math symbols on the background around the microscope and butterfly. For my granddaughter.
Candlewicking Queen - Traditional candle wicking embroidery completed by Linda Krieger. Pieced, Applique'd lace sashing and machine quilted by Linda Ames. This quilt was honoring traditional construction and finish. Wool batting and computer assisted and free-motion quilting. This quilt was entered and won best large quilt in the 'Quilting in the Badlands' 2014 juried show in Drumheller Alberta on July 4th, 2014.

Mayan Tree of Life - The center section is a colored applique rendition of the Tree of Life" Stone (Izape stelae #5) A Jaguar and hanging fruit surround the stone. In the borders are quilted Meadowlyon's Mayan Glyphs, Jungle and Feathered Serpent.
