Kaleidostar - This quilt was a challenge, as I did not have the original pattern when I made the first version of this design. My friend explained the pattern to me over the phone, and I wrote it on a napkin. Did not realize how addictive it would become, and I have since made 3 of these quilts. Thanks, Ricky.

Celestrial Journey - I challenged myself to come up with my own design, but since I am not draft minded, I choose to combine my own design with one that was a paper pieced method using batiks. The result gave me an award winning quilt with my local fair, and the opportunity to showcase my own machine quilting on a domestic machine. What a thrill!
