Tennessee Memoiries - I saw this quilt demonstrated on Simply Quilts, and downloaded the pattern from the website. I added the applique borders, as I love the offset applique borders.
Plumeria - I fell in the love with the Plume panels, and used them in my own arrangement of blocks based on the book Nine Patch Pizzazz. Quilted on a Statler.
We're Not in Kansas Anymore - I used the quilt design Ruby Slippers, by Ruth Lofgren, as the base, and added the pieced border to enlarge it. Quilted with designs by Laurie Thomas on a Statler.
Asian Tiles - I love the 8 piece Kaleidoscope block, and made these blocks using Marti Mitchell's Kaleidoscope ruler. I then bordered them so they would all be the same size, and put them into this small wallwanging. Quilted on a Statler.
Gibson's I Spy - This I-SPy quilt has 99 different fabrics as the center of each star. The center star is a photo block of Gibson's Mom and Dad. I made this quilt for my two-year-old grandson while working in Guam.
Hearts for Maxine - I wanted to make a quilt for my mother-in-law after her husband passed away. This quilt was made with Moda Kansas Troubles fabrics. The hearts are fused and blanket-stitched.
Divine Nature of Mathematics - This was a challenge to draft because it's a circle with 17 segments (a prime number). Lots of other components are also prime numbers. Since the photo was made, some of the blacks have faded to dark brown -it's been on the wall for almost 10 years. So I might have to make another one!
