All Points towards Love
Name of Maker: CharleneNJ
All Points towards Love - A gift for my son, who lives by the ocean.
Curvature Appeal
Name of Maker: Brenda Ferrario
Curvature Appeal - Started with Ricky's Harmonic Convergence and then cut it into a circle. I just kept adding elements around it as you would a medalion quilt. Winding Way scrappy blocks were added, seminole piecing and Ricky's Caveman Quilting! Super fun quilt to make that develped on its own without a plan.
R and D Treat 42
Name of Maker: Brenda Ferrario
R and D Treat 42 - I designed this quilt on graph paper. For my birthday, my kids gave me a "quilting treat day". They made my breakfast and lunch, cleaned the house, cleaned the dishes, all while I sewed my heart out. It was the best birthday present they could have given me!
Gino's Angel
Name of Maker: Brenda Ferrario
Gino's Angel - This quilt is made with raw edge applique on top of a fabric collage background with a tule overlay. Inspired by a found photograph of a fairy, fabric was cut free-hand without a pattern. I was lucky to be able to take a class from Laura Fogg to learn this technique.
Mini-Pineapple Quilt
Name of Maker: Brenda Ferrario
Mini-Pineapple Quilt - I really liked this pineapple block pattern because of the fabric change in the corners. With this change the quilt looks different from close-up and seems to change at a distance. There seems to be a secondary pattern going on with this small change in the block. This quilt is 15 inches square.
Madam Butterflying
Name of Maker: PattyC
Madam Butterflying - Part of Hoffman Challenge Tour in 1994. In 1995 won Grand Champion at County Fair.
3 Degrees South of Zero
Name of Maker: PattyC
3 Degrees South of Zero - All of the animals on this quilt were thread painted. The hemisphere in the middle was couched and thread painted. The quilt was machine pieced and quilted. The quilt was juried into ``Quilts at the Crossroads" in 1995 and into Williamsburg in 1996. I thoroughly enjoyed designing and making this quilt. But the zebras drove my eyes bonkers.
Just East of Baltimore
Name of Maker: Lynne Blackman
Just East of Baltimore - These are a few of the baltimore machine quilting patterns I created from a number of historical quilts. After machine quilting on my long arm I then needle-turn appliqued and pieced every other design. After the quilt was pieced I returned it to the long-arm and completed quilting the background.

A Starry Night
Name of Maker: Jill
A Starry Night - Top is finished. By far, one of the trickier patterns I've ever attempted, but what a fun pattern! Now, my HQ 16 needs to come home from the shop so I can quilt it. It's approximately 90x100, and she wants high loft batting (Ugh!). Don't even want to try this one on my Bernina. :-)
