Anchor Up
Name of Maker: Sharon Wiley Hightower
Anchor Up - Anchor Up was inspired by a photo I took on a small-ship cruise in Alaska. The chain and its rusty surround are key to the architecture and function of the ship. It was an even stronger statement when greatly enlarged.

My First Quilt
Name of Maker: Debra Yates
My First Quilt - Saw the design liked it so I tried it. Had just bought a sewing machine and was learning to sew. Decided I wanted to make a quilt now I'm hooked.
Very First Quilt
Name of Maker: Maxine Lewis Olson
Very First Quilt - This is the first quilt I ever made. I estimate I was a very young teenager. It used to have those silver paper stars glued on the blue field but they are long gone. I have often thought of adding stitched stars but I have decided to leave it be for the present time. It measures approximately 4"x6". I find it interesting that I hid stitching on the bottom of the stripes and whipped stitched the top of the stripe.

Fish Baby Quilt
Name of Maker: Amber Anderson
Fish Baby Quilt - I purchased this paper piecing pattern from craftsy.com and made it for my soon to be here great-grandson. His parents are into fishing and so I thought this would be a cute baby quilt for a little boy. Something different from the traditional pastel baby quilts. I did the gils as prairie points, so he would have something to grab onto. I don't remember the exact size of the quilt, and it's already gone, but it's approximately 36x54.
