Pink Sunshine - Being of an obsessive compulsive nature, I spent time making sure that no two of the blocks were made of the same fabric combination, and that no fabric appeared twice in the same row!! Although this quilt was designed to fill the 'April' gap in my display a quilt each month dining room wall, a dear friend fell in love with it, and it now resides in his home.

Lily Rose - My cousin Sarah in Buffalo NY has a grandaughter named Lilly Rose. Last year Lilly Rose moved with her Mommy and Daddy to Texas. I made this little quilt to help my dear cousin cope with Lilly's absense. It hangs over her bed.

Tyler - Designed from a doggy quilt block I saw on Simply Quilts on TV. The three dogs on the quilt are fashioned after my Dalmatian, my son's Golden Lab, and my other son's Rottie. The cats are just along for the ride.

Newfane, Vermont historic buildings - Newfane, Vermont is the quintessential New England village with white clapboard buildings around a village green and a country store that sells lots and lots of quilts! In addition to doing this group quilt, I developed patterns for each building and also made inidividual quilts of each one at the request of Newfane Country Store owner Marilyn Distelberg. She's an avid quilter herself - you should visit the store!

Koi Pond and Willow - Used silk koi painted by my sister along with hand dyes silks to give the koi fish a home, since she is not a quilter. The fish needed leaf cover so I added the willow branches touching the water surface. I used at least 50 different fabrics to make it, and about that many threads to quilt it. see Quilters Newsletter Magazine April 2007 TOC and page 50.

Black, White, and Red Poppies All Over - Designed this quilt in Electric Quilt based on the large scale floral pattern. It was all about featuring the fabric! I like playing with the borders to extend the quilt top, it seems to add dimension.
