Mum's Quilt - I made this quilt for my Mum using embroidered blocks. The pictures on each block represent my memories of Mum eg: cooking, gardening, beautiful blue dress etc. I used calico and the border was a piece of material Mum gave me years ago to make a dress with.

Quilted Memories - Quilt was made with 5 inch "girly" blocks with pink sashing around each block and backed with a polka dot fabric. Quilted with stitch in the block.

Quilter's Choice Shoe Box Quilt - Each member of our group chose fabrics, passed around a shoe box numbered 1-8. Each member made a block of the chosen fabric. Monthly we passed the box to the next member.

Rev. 3:20 - This was inspired by doorway photos I took on a trip to Europe, and by the famous paintings of Jesus standing at the door, knocking. The stones are all fabric, the lamp post is fabric, paint and metallic leafing, and the door knocker is fimo and paint. All pieces are stretched over canvas.

Retro Baby - I have used a 5 inch charm pack and wanted a simple layout. Mark and Lisa were expecting their fourth girl so I did not want to use pink. Instead I did a beautiful retro look in teal and brown.

Ann's Cat Clock - Made for a small group challenge using 10 different fabric and embellishments and an electronic clock work plus some personal additions. Pieced and quilted and mounted on hard board. The tail is a moving pendulum. Made to commemorate the clock in my friend's kitchen back in the '50s.
