Winding Ways Wall quilt
Name of Maker: Candace Door
Winding Ways Wall quilt - I made this quilt using Accuquilt's Winding Ways GO die. It was started at the GO retreat in Fremont NE. Instead of buying a kit I chose my own fabrics. It was a challenge putting the design together and then keeping the block pieces organized. Fun though!
Santa's Christmas
Name of Maker: Patti Bustamante
Santa's Christmas - The center blocks are Santa BOM (16") from Sister's Quilt Shop & the other big blocks are BOM from Greenbaum's uilted Forest and I adapted the little pieced blocks to fill in the spaces. This is the first King Size quilt I made and also the first time I used nylon thread for the quilting. I love the way this has turned out, but I am willing to part with it. It is the experience of making it and using different techniques that make it so I will never forget it.

Quilting is; good fun; good for you
Name of Maker: Marianne Daly
Quilting is; good fun; good for you - In Lauren's class I learned how to make a small wall quilt that would be a base for embellishments that she is teaching. There was a chance to use the fancy stitches on the sewing machine, different ways of beading, adding embroidery threads and how to use the lettering to add a note of fun. It was a great learning experience.
Cat and Mouse Quilt
Name of Maker: Carolyn Hughey
Cat and Mouse Quilt - It’s hard to resist a tasty slice of cheddar, but these little mice are living dangerously, with 4 cats close at hand. http://quiltingupacreek.webs.com/shop.htm
maasai
Name of Maker: NancyinSTL

Maasai - The center fabric panel and coordinating border fabrics were purchased in 2006. I also machine pieced the borders around the panel and sandwiched the top back in 2006. At that time, I had no experience in machine quilting and my initial attempts were unsuccessful. So, I got frustrated and stopped. This year, I decided to complete this UFO in time for it to be displayed in my guild's upcoming Quilt EXPO in March 2013. The fabric panel is heavily free motion quilted, but the borders are mainly quilted in the ditch. This is the first quilt that I free motion quilted without the aid of any quilt markings or pinned on paper designs.

Frosty Night variation
Name of Maker: Betty Fawcett
Frosty Night variation - The original pattern had a diamond border around the feathered star. I opted to change it to the square border. The original pattern also had curtain hanger decorations where I have appliqued the hearts.
