A Quilt for Mollie - I created this unique signature quilt for Mollie, a 25 year old coworker who suffered a brainstem stroke in early 2012 and is paralyzed from the nose down. The tree trunk is couched, and the rest of the quilt is free motion quilted.
Silhouettes of Indian Dancers - The silhouettes emphasize the form and movement of the hands, feet, clothes and hair of the eleven dancers. Auspicious numbers in the Indian culture end with one..11, 21, 51, 101, 501 etc.
Tom &The Model T, Iowa 1924 - Inspired by a family photo of my father-in-law, as a young boy in Fairfax, Iowa. Machine raw edged applique, the sky, cobblestone & face are hand-painted. Threadsketching for the cobblestone,tulle for shadow.

Stars for a New Day my way - I FINALLY finished my 2009 BOM - in time for my guild's show this past October. I love how it turned out and am proud to say it won first place in its category. Now perhaps I can get started on the 2013 BOM!

My dog dont like that she was´nt on it so she put her self on it ,... or she thinks I´m petting my fabrics mor then her .... ;)
baby Élizabeth - made for baby Élizabeth, with coton and a few polyester-coton, batting is polyester for softness, and quilted litghly in the ditch also for softness, made with bernina 830 machine embroidery and a purchase flower design, matching baby bumper pad made also and curtain for baby room.
Christmas Tree Quilt - Made this to use at Christmas. During that time took a retreat/class from Cindy Needham to increase machine quilting experience and this quilt had enough open space to practice feathers learned in Cindy's class. Very happy with results but still need lots of practice. Changed the border from the original design.
Waterlilies - Mother loves waterlilies so when I saw this waterlily pattern I knew it would make the perfect Mother's Day gift. Eileen Sullivan's foundation pieced patterns look complicated but are very easy to follow. The hardest part was finding the right mixture of pale blue fabrics to get the effect I wanted for the water.
