Flowers for my Valentine - I needed a quilt to display for Valentines day, so I decided to do one with flowers and valentines, so another quilt was born.

Sparkle Heart - Sparkle Heart has been created using a range of Anna Griffin scrapbook papers but I have also created it using travel maps, wall paper, gift wrap, postage stamps, a watercolour painting, a glossy magazine advertisment and - surprise surprise - fabric. It is a quick and easy project. It measures about 5 inches/14cm square.

Eichler Essence - Both my husband and I grew up living in an Eichler home - a classic mid-century modern home, built almost exclusively in California. Our son and his family now live in one so I made this for them. Each of our homes is included in the quilt.

Hawaiian Memories - I painted the center medallion with some of my favorite parts of living in Hawaii- the color of the water and sky, the palm trees, my blue adirondack chair I would relax and enjoy the breeze in, plumeria (my favorite flower), sea turtles (honu, these four representing myself, my husband, and our two children), and the pineapple I lovingly grew. The center is quilted in the traditional Hawaiian style. The pieced blocks have a plumeria quilt design. I finished the border with quilted waves.
