Karen's Dresden Plate - I loved this pattern so much after I made my daughter one, I decided to use the blocks I had left over, added a few, changed the border color, and made myself one for my bed.
Mom's Star Quilt

Mom's Star Quilt - This star quilt was hand pieced by my mom, date unknown, before she passed away. We found it tucked away with some other quilt tops she had made. She cut the pieces out with sissors, she never used a rotary cutter, and she hand pieced it. So we had it hand quilted by some Amish ladys, who did a wonderful job.

Margaret's Lap Quilt - I made this quilt for my cousin who has a love for cats, and she loves crazy cat patterns. She reads alot, thought it would keep her warm when she is sitting on the couch reading in the winter.

Safari Adventure - I used an alternate center block, from the 2009 BOM. Left out a basket inner border and designed new corner blocks. Now hangs in my family room.

Friendship Quilt - This quilt was made by myself and a friend, each block was hand signed by co-workers/friends as a going-away gift. We also included photos we had taken along the way of co-workers and place them on the border around the quilt.

Double Wedding Ring - This quilt was cut out with sissors, hand pieced by my mother, and was hand quilted by 2 Amish ladys after her death.The top was given to my sister by my mother, and went to my niece after my sister's death. After my sisters death, my niece had it hand quilted. Turned out beautiful.

FLOWER POWER - I used 2 collections of applique-in-the-hoop embroidery designs from Smith Street designs. The rest was my own creation: each block was cut in a circle & set into another batik & then trapunto quilted. Free motion stippling around applique circles and piped binding finished it all off.

My stupendous stitches - Got too close to my work and sewed through my left index finger! Had to go to med ctr to get the needle piece removed. Broke off in my finger! The Doc numbed it (hooray) and removed it and it hasn't hurt since.

WonkyWorks46 - I simply started tearing strips of Ricky's fabric and sewed them together, not having any plan in mind. After cutting up the sections, a pattern emerged which excited me. The quilt is now hanging over my fireplace.
