Watercolor Heart - Base of this quilt is 9 patch squares with black border and floral border. Flowers from various floral fabrics appliqued on. Quilted with metallic thread and beaded. Only surviving photo I have.

Snow Day - Snow Day was challenge quilt by Benartex for Snow Day line of fabric. Quilt won honorable mention.

My Austrian quilt - A gift for my friends. I used six panels with Teddy Bears surrounded by square blocks made of wide cotton stripes. Predominant color is blue. The backing is 100% cotton from IKEA - it turned out to be wide enough to cover the whole quilt. Free-motion machine stitching

Enchanting Roses - Completed my 2011 BOM in March 2012. Entered in MQS Show May 2012 and won a ribbon- 2nd place Traditional Custom. It was a wonderful, unexpected surprise. Another ribbon June 2012 at the Minnesota Quilter's Show - 2nd place Mixed Technique.

Fire Escape - I loved this pattern but felt the strips were too wide so I cut everything down by 1/3. I used the queen size pattern so I could use more fabrics and ended up with a nice lap size. I made 8 in. blocks of the rest of the fabric (I always buy extra) and put them together for the backing. It's my favorite quilt so far this year.

Duquesa - I saw this pattern in a magazine and I almost overlooked it because I wasn't crazy about the fabrics in the pattern. I learned a long time ago to look around the fabric and reall study new patterns

A Change in Attitude - I made this top with the instructions provided by Charlotte Angotti and Debbie Caffrey for the show 1010. I finished it on May 24, 2012. I plan to continue using elements from the quilt to expand it to King size so I can use it on my bed.

October Sky - This was my 2nd pieced quilt that I made in 2004. I had it professionally quilted in 2008 and entered it in 2 quilt shows. It has received a 1st and 3rd Place Ribbin in two different shows.
