Deco Woman - This art quilt started out by using only 2 colors, black & white. I thought that it was to plain so I added a floral border, and gold beads to dress her up.
Friendship Medallion - I made this wallhanging from the half-square triangles I got from the SOTT and Batiks R Us exchanges on the Quilt Show website in 2011. They came from 42 states and 6 countries.
Isla's Quilt - A combination of blocks and applique for my granddaughter made to fit a small bed. Handquilted freestyle in the centre, more formally in the outer borders. The little people are based on those in the "Peaced together" pattern by Brandywine.
Purple Haze - The only change I made to the pattern is making the 4 pointed stars more obvious, and there are more purple fabrics. There are no circles in this! I seem to be naming quilts after songs these days.
Trip Across the Country - This quilt was made for a monthly Doll Quilt Swap through Doll Quilters Monthly. Theme was three colors. Colors used were blue, yellow, and green. It measures apporx. 18"x23".
Light the night 2011 - Made as a raffle quilt for the Lymphoma Society in memory of Lauri Strauss Intintoli. A number of her friends get together each year to put together a quilt. The theme this year was Children light up our world.
Jeans for Morgan - Quilt was made to celebrate my grandaughter's graduation from high school. To honor her commitment to the "greening" of the environment it is made of denim cut from her recycled jeans and a green batik.
Italian Tiles - I made this quilt for a teenage boy attending Camp Erin this year. Camp Erin is a network of free bereavement (40) camps in US. Founded by Major League pitcher Jamie Moyer in 2002, every child ages 6-17 attends for FREE. Camp Erin combines traditional and fun camp activities with specialized grief activities and peer support for the children who are grieving the loss of someone close to them. Each camper receives a quilt when they come to camp.
A Version of Crazy Eights - I bought plenty of material to finish just the Crazy Eights but liked what I chose for the backing so much I decided to include an extra border on the front and to make it big enough for a sofa quilt.
GOLD STARS & RAINBOWS - Intent on reining in my overflowing stash, I incorporated the "Bunnie Blocks" front and back; rainbow fabric plus several others, all from previously purchased fabrics and orphan blocks.
T is for Travis - Reversible alphabet/number sports themed quilt made for the birth of my first grandchild.
Each letter depicts a sport which begins with that letter. Thanks to Tonya Ricucci's book

Optical Illusion Wall Hanging - This quilt is an Optical Illusion that was very difficult for me to get straight because it literally made me dizzy to work on it!
