Dolores - I decided to make this quilt as a quick Christmas gift for my mom who collects angels. I used a wool batting to make it comfortable when watching TV and to make the angel pop out like trapunto. It ended up not being such a quick gift as there is fairly dense stitching in the borders that took me almost 2 months to complete. I also added crystals to make it sparkle.
