Don's Quilt - Quilt was made for my husband before he passed away.

Baby Shower - Family and friends were given a square to decorate. Immediate family chose the batiks. Immediate family and GmaLou came up with design elements. The individual quilts are sewn to the background quilt so that each one is in fact a pocket for holding small items. Each component has sentimental value. The quilt was a surprise at the shower for the McKay first child. What fun. How special.

K's Quilt - This quilt is made of sample hand quilted blocks at a beginning class taught by Shirley Heim at Marti's Patchwork Cottage in Black Mountain, NC. The Tuesday night gang helped make the quilt squares turn into a finished quilt top. As the quilt came together, the colors shouted "Give the quilt to Klenna!" Roma Wimberly long arm quilted it for me.

Pieceful Rose - The pattern was designed by Margaret Miller and Nancy Lee Chong for the participants of the 2007 Pieceful Harbor Retreat.

My Monet Bridge

Radiant Compass - My first major project in paper piecing - love the way this technique gives such perfect points.

My Monet Boats on The Seine - I love Monet's colour and style.

Dinio Flowers - This was made as a wedding present for a friend's neice. Their colors were tangerine and royal purple. They liked oriental things. This is the only limitations I had in making the quilt.

New Horizons - I made this quilt for our dear friend Mick's retirement from one of his photos in the boudary waters.

Rising Star - I adapted my pattern from the one in the quilters newsletter magazine june of 2000. Love the tradtional look.

Chinese Parasols - Needed a new quilt for our wall, so drew this and used freezer paper for the pattern. Some of the ribs of the parasols are dimensional. And it is quilted with a bamboo pattern in the border.

In the Jungle - I bought a quilt panel from JoAnn's with the monkey appliques, cut them out to use in my own quilt. Also wanted to try curved piecing, so just started cutting and sewing.

Cherry Blossom church banner - A spring banner made for my church. Drew the branches and then started adding cherry blossoms. Some are fused flat and others are dimensional.

Thanksgiving church banner - Our church built a new sanctuary and I needed to make much bigger banners. This was made to celebrate our thankfulness for our new place of worship. Flowers are made with Texture magic.

Bethleham - I bought this royalty free illustration and adapted it for this banner. Used freezer paper pattern and lots of registration marks to put it together.

Panda Family - This quilt was made for my first grandson, drawn by my talented son, Jon. The panda family represents my son, daughter-in-love, and my wonderful grandson. And they are fuzzy!
