Blazing Sunsets - I wanted to use some oranges and purples that I had and this was the result. I enjoyed using the technique that Laurie used to make the "Drunkard's Path". I sold it.

Fun with Fans - I like circles and I enjoy seeing what I can put together using the EQ software. I also like batiks and wanted to see how I could join these two old patterns and give it a contemporary look.

Jenni's Baby Quilt - I wanted to try this method of making the pineapple block. I used the center block for the main theme and was able to quilt butterflies in the secondary block that came about when putting the blocks on point. A gift.

Anne's Sunflowers - My niece loves sunflowers. I found some fabrics with sunflowers and decided to make the pattern work, since I was not following the original plan. This is her graduation present.

Sarah's Baby Quilt - I had to make a baby quilt for this sweet young mother and her first baby. I like to applique (machine) and wanted to make use of some of the cute designs that I have.

My Big Purple Quilt - I loved the colors in this selection of 10" squares. I cut them and reassembled them. No particular order, as you can see. I just loved the colors!

My Apprentice Piece - This is my version of Sue Garman's Ruffled Roses which was the BOM last year here on TQS. I changed it slightly towards the outer borders. I did a scrappy version of this with fabrics from my stash. I have called it "My Apprentice Piece" because it was such a huge learning curve for me and I learned so much from doing this quilt.

Lavender's Green - Companion piece to Lavender’s Blue. Sliced and diced an unsuccessful project from several years ago and re-invented it. UFO #3, the last of them, now completed!

Cabachon Quilt - This is a collaborative Quilt between Charlotte & myself. It is heavily embroidered in jewel tones on silk dupioni, quilted by me using patterns that I designed & digitized in the borders & freehand quilting on the rest of it. I love this quilt & luckily I have a 2nd one to do also. I wonder if they will look alike when they are done.

Cabachon Quilt Detail - This is a detail shot of the the quilt shown in another shot in this album. Collaboration between Charlotte & I.

Zen Doodle Quilting Practice Piece - Here's a sample of some quilting that I filled in with marker when playing around with some freehand designs. Just really messing around.

Grow Forth - Quilt has pieced squares with appliqued seeds and seedlings. The largest leaves are 3D and attached only on the upper edge. Original quilting echoes the seedlings and has leafy border.

Isabella's Bonnets - Isabella's Bonnets was designed and made for the HMQS 2011 Design Challenge. Riley Blake Designs supplied the fabric ("Isabella" by Lila Tueller) and teams or individuals designed and made quilts using certain parameters for fabrics, size, etc. 23 teams participated in the challenge and the quilts were displayed during the Home Machine Quilting Show in Salt Lake City, May 5-7, 2011. "Isabella's Bonnets" won first place in the competition! At the end of the show, the quilts were sold at a live auction to benefit the charity "Lifting Liberia" to build schools in Africa. Log Cabin in the Jungle - Made for my granddaughter...used images of jungle animals as the center of the cabin block.
