Alaskan Memories - This is a wedding quilt for Ryan & Robin (he is my step-son). He loves anything Alaskan & has a home there but is working in UAE for a few more years. This will remind them of their home back in the states.
CIRCLES OF LIFE - The 5 circles represent humanity's free will to choose good over evil/chaos to reach everlasting life and tranquility. They appear to float because humanity's decisions can change their positions any time. They are viewed through an animal print picture window of the universe.
LORI'S WREATH - My first paper-pieced wall quilt done on my own. Binding fabric was a gift from Lori Thompson in 2004, owner of Katie's Quilt Shoppe, Gresham, OR (now closed), where I took some fun, creative quilt classes.
TO MOM AND COCO, WITH LOVE - A healing/memorial watercolor heart quilt in memory of my Mom and dog Coco. Most of the 2" squares were fussy cut so I could get the best angle placement in the heart. I wanted it to look like a 3-D floral heart bouquet. It still needs to be quilted. Rhonda Beyer's work is greatly influencing my quilting ideas. I plan to use a lot of crystals for a dew-drop effect when the quilting is finished.
PROWLERS IN PARADISE - Originally, this quilt was a personal experiment using Paula Nadelstern's "Puzzle" book...but it morphed into purple panthers prowling outside one of the larger squares because I was thinking about the flora and fauna in Florida and how they were affected by hurricanes.
Collettes Pinwheels - Loveingly made for baby Collette. This is the second quilt made with the Bliss line of fabric from Camille, scraps are great! I am sure I was inspired by Camille's show on The Quilt Show, time to move on to another show!
Butterflies in the Garden - Quilt top was made in 2003 but was not put together and quilted until 2011.
Quit is to be given to son and daughter-in-law for their 15 wedding anniversary

Puzzle Quilt - One of my quilt groups (the Lone Mountain circle of Desert Quilters of Nevada) did a block-of-the-month with the traditional block, St George's Cross. We used the same block every month, just changing the placement of our four fabrics each time. This is a great study in the drastic differences that can be obtained by judicious use of color (and value!). I just can't resist going small, so I pieced my blocks at 3 inches. Thanks to Helen Baczynski for developing this project.
Natasha's Graduation Quilt - My niece chose this quilt for me to make for her high school graduation. All the colors will certainly brighten her dorm room. I had a lot of fun quilting all the cirlces with my new LA. It's the 2nd quilt I did on it and the first using templates.
Wonky Squares - My daughter chose this as a late wedding gift for she and her husband. She chose the pattern and fabrics. The directions for making the blocks were excellent but there were none for how to put all the oddly shaped blocks together so that part was a challenge. The purple squares are appliqued to the intersections.
Five Favorite Things - I made this quilt for a swap called Five favorite things which were her grandchildren, wonky stars, bright colors, the beach, and owls.
Military Life - This another one of my embroidered quilts. I do really love them and I love ME. I made this one for my son who retired after 23 years from the Air Force. He love eagles so I used them and also got flags from all the countries and states he served in and embroidered the date of service on them.
This quilt was a product of love.
