1930s repro Baby Quilt
Name of Maker: JudyPete
1930s repro Baby Quilt - This baby quilt uses a traditional block but I can't remember the name. It may have been a Kansas City Star pattern. The sashing was pieced from a lovely green that enhanced the pink and added to the quilt's design. It's small size made it so easy to machine quilt on my vintage 1940s Singer 15-91. I love my antique Singer! Size - 35 inches square. 1930s repro fabrics You can visit me at my blog: http://revel217.blogspot.com/

Bunbury Red
Name of Maker: JudyPete
Bunbury Red - In 2005 my online quilting buddy in Ohio urged me to join a quilt challenge in Australia entitled "Colour My World". The challenge fabrics were the black/whites. I didn't want to purchase more fabs, so dug into my stash of reds to create these attic window blocks. The design is my own. Size is approximately 26 inches square.

Sunny Stars
Name of Maker: NA
Sunny Stars - Made for Tracey Brookshier’s UK/USA 2007 Challenge. Eight bright yellow reverse appliquéd stars blast through the teal butterfly fabric; 28 wt. Aurifil thread is blanket stitched to embellish and add further emphasis to the stars. Pink rickrack flowers with bead embellished centers add a playful note and re-enforce the inclusion of pink in the composition. Prairie Points along the quilt’s edge add a traditional finish.
Beach House Nautical
Name of Maker: Colleen Fox
Beach House Nautical - A friend in Iowa, at a company where I was working at the time, commissioned this quilt. She wanted something with a nautical theme, and lots of blues. As I used to live in Houston and go to Galveston all the time in the summer, and friends had beach houses there. I love all things nautical, so was thrilled with the commission. Designed it using Electric Quilt (the version that was current in 2002-2003). I love using EQ, and have designed many quilts for friends, but have not published yet. I am building a stock of designs, and photograph all my finished projects, and enjoy the fun and friends that each project brings along the way -- and of course, love learning new techniques and am always trying to improve my skills.
