Quilt in a Day Log Cabin with Music

Scott's memory quilt - This quilt was made for my husband who was traveling a lot at the time and I wanted him to have something special from us. This quilt is memory's of children and special family vacations that are centered around our wedding picture in the middle of the quilt.

"Forties Forever" - I made this quilt for the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals. The center is a tee shirt.

patchwork illusions - I made this as part of the course that I took from Karen Coombs from Quilt University.

The wedding quilt - This is a paper pieced pattern that took me two years to complete the sewing for the top.

Celtic magic - This quilt is an original pattern using nine patch blocks and connector blocks. This method was developed by Karen Combs but the pattern design is mine. This is the first one that I have completed.

Celtic Magic 2 - This is the second original design quilt that I have completed. It consists of nine patch blocks and connector blocks using Karen Combs method in her new book Celtic inspirations This is the second original design that I have completed using this process. I have created many more designs but haven't gotten the tops made yet.

Jane's quilt

Signature wedding ring quilt - This is a signature wedding ring quilt that I designed for my son Ryan. It was displayed a his wedding for the guests to sign and add comments. Their names are embroidered on the wallhanging along with the date etc. The pictures in the four coners and the center were added after the wedding. The colours used matched the colours of the wedding party.

Remembrances of Home - This is a wallhanging pattern that I fell in love with and had to do. It won best in show for wallhanging at my local quilt guild. Several people have wanted to purchase it but I don't sell my work.

Christmas Table Runner - This table runner is all hand pieced, hand quilted and is made from my own hand dyed fabrics. It became a table runner because it was not enough fun to make a full sized quilt.

Road to Oklahoma - This was the first quilt that I started and it took me ten years to finish it. It was too hard as a beginner so I went on to other projects , taking this out from time to time to work on. A love hate relationship! The hand quilting took 2 months.

Fun at the Beach - Gave quilts to the twins in 2003 and they have not taken them off the beds since. Are used every night and well loved! Fabrics are all beach/sea themed, sewn into pinwheels, four patches and what ever caught my fancy. They live in Sarasota Florida only a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico.

I like to Color in Court - All the fabric for this quilt was torn rather than cut. The black is inserted in each seam, not pieced.
