Warm Squares - This quilt was pieced using charm squares, scraps of fabric from the baby nursery of the recipient's first child, thrifted shirts and new border, backing, and binding fabrics (before I knew not to mix fibers for this types of quilt). It was made for my middle brother's 50th birthday gift.

Oh, To Be A Kid Again - I found these bright and colourful plushy cotton fabrics and just had to do something that let me savour the soft and bright cloth. Complete padded cloth strips (front and back different colours - sometimes different materials) Strips are woven together - therefore 6 layers Warm - soft - bright took 4 years to complete as i was unable to sew for more than 3 years in between, due to problems with my hands.

Almost Amish - Monkey Wrench - I bought "A Quiet Spirit" and found it very inspirational! I am not really motivated to hand sew in any fashion so adapted the monkey wrench pattern to perhaps unconventional colors and machine quilted the "feathers".
