Quilting all over the World - Hand embroidered Crazy Quilt depicting Nth America, Sth America, China, Japan, Egypt, England, India, Sth Africa and Australia.
Winter Flower - made in log cabin style using scraps; attempting to find something to do with all the little pieces of needlework I have made over the years; center is petite-point using cotton floss and one strand of metallic; donated to charity auction
Autumn Delight - Made from flannel I bought about 10 years ago, started it, seriously in 2008, finsihed in 2010, almost. Want to add half blocks for scalloped border and then quilt, so maybe it is not officially finished. A work in progress.
Sarah's Wedding Table Runner - My daughter liked the double wedding ring pattern but was not ready for a wedding quilt. So I made her a table runner instead. I used neutral batiks that I thought would go with any color scheme.
Untitled at present - These blocks are 9" finished, wereas on Autumn Delight they are 6" finished. These were made from a 20 year of hand dyes...took a fq to cut out all the pieces, put major dent in stash, but I can always dye more :-) Would also like to finish this off with the half blocks, I'm sure I have enough cut and partially made. I love this block...twelve curved pieces make a square!
Old Tyme Pointsetta - I love hand applique and hand quilting and this pattern just spoke to me. I really enjoyed working on it and still have it hanging in my house. I like very traditional patterns and this looks like an "old" design.
Untitled - Offered to make for shop, was given all supplies needed....whew...I had no idea how much work. But it turned out beautifully. I purchased enough paper to make a king size. My husband loves, wants for our bed. Least fav thing is removing papers, first full size paper pieced quilt I have completed. Quite happy with it.
Surveyors Instruments & mariners Compass - Made the quilt to donate to my husband's professional Land Surveyors organization as a scholarship fund raiser. It will be auctioned at silent auction 3-5-2011.
